If you watched The Wendy Williams Show this morning, she took time to talk from her heart about her feelings on the passing of Whitney Houston.
“What a sad, sad story regarding Whitney Houston, right? So young, so talented. So legendary and iconic and only 48 years old. I was at home in New Jersey when I heard the news and I don’t remember much else after that. I know that I wasn’t answering phone calls, I wasn’t making phone calls. I turned off the TV. I did not watch the Grammys. I did not watch the fashion police before the Grammys. I did nothing. I started a new book this weekend, so I started reading. That was about it; I kinda shut down. Kinda went into my shell, thinking about Whitney.”
Wendy paralleled her and Whitney’s similarities with being both victims of substance abuse, and both being mothers.
Wendy touched briefly on that infamous radio interview between her and Whitney back in 2003. Listen to that interview HERE!
It was clear that Wendy took it extremely hard, as we all did…losing Whitney Houston…way too soon.
