Terrence J Is Headed To ‘E! News’. He’s Taking Ryan Seacrest Spot…

Aug 10, 2012 | By:

Terrence ain’t missing a beat!! You go boy! *in my Gina from ‘Martin’ voice*

As you know, Terrence J, whose full name is Terrence Jenkins, will be leaving ’106 & Park’ soon, and then will start his job with E! Entertainment.

The 30-year-old host will be co-hosting “E! News” with Giuliana Rancic. Ryan Seacrest previously hosted with Rancic, however, his “American Idol” schedule and his plans to do more contributing at NBC have him “over-extended.”

As you know, Terrence also has his acting career, and a source close to the network tells AlwaysAList.com that “they’re very supportive of him pursuing his acting career.”

No word on when Terrence J officially starts on “E! News.” Back in May, he guest-hosted with Rancic and speculation began online that he was in talks with the network.

Congrats to Terrence!!!

Terrence J & Rocsi Officially Announce Their Departure From ’106 & Park’…

May 30, 2012 | By:

Just in case you missed it, on yesterday’s ’106 & Park’, Terrence and Rocsi made their announcement. The announcement that I told you about HERE a couple of weeks ago!

Rocsi was emotional, holding back tears, but Terrence kept it together!

They both discussed their struggles before getting that call that they were the hosts for  ’106 & Park’ seven years ago:

“The first day I cracked the mic on 106, I was staying on a cot in a basement,” Terrence said.

They talked about various historical moments they shared with their viewers during their time on the show,  including the Haiti earthquake, the deaths of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston and the inauguration of the nation’s first black president.

Stephen Hill, President of Music Programming & Specials for BET Networks released a statement:

“Today, after seven exciting years, 106 & Park hosts Terrence J and Rocsi announced that they will be leaving the show. It is no secret that there are a number of opportunities coming their way and we’re fortunate that they’ve been with 106 & Park for so long. They will be staying on the show for a while, so that we can have a “victory lap” — a celebration of their years at the helm of 106 & Park — before their departure. Terrence J and Rocsi are destined for great success and we at BET Networks will always take pride in being their original home — and be a place where I hope they’ll always feel welcome.”

“We are humbled at the opportunity to be a part of your lives,” Terrence summed up, before promising that “we have a huge farewell show coming for you guys. We’re going to be leaving with a bang.”

Terrence & Rocsi Leaving ’106 & PARK’…

May 17, 2012 | By:

…at least that’s what’s being reported.

After 7 years, the two hosts who were chosen through a nationwide talent search back in 2005, will be leaving to pursue their acting careers.

Now Terrence J has  definitely maximized his platform these past 7 years, and I can see him having a career in Hollywood. Starring in “Think Like A Man”, a guest spot on ‘The Game’, starring in “Stomp The Yard 2′, and a role in ‘Burlesque’, he definitely has been making moves and probably won’t miss a beat. But now his other half Rocsi, who currently hosts a syndicated radio show-’Rocsi on The Radio’, had a role in “Gang of Roses 2: The Next Generation”–has any of you even seen it?, and reportedly landed a role in a yet-unnamed film starring actress Lynn Whitfield, we have yet to see her make a dent in Hollywood. So, good luck to her.

BET is cleaning house big time. First Tia & Pooch (‘The Game’), now Terrence and Rocsi. Not sure what’s going on over there, but  as 1 reader tweeted… Wait, there’s more…

Emily From ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ Is FINALLY Being Claimed By Fabolous, But He Looks Uncomfortable…

Feb 27, 2012 | By:

A pic says a lot. And based on this pic, Emily is clearly happy to be seen on her boo’s arms out in public, as that’s been her whole goal on the reality show ‘Love & Hip-Hop’, but Fabolous looks a bit uncomfortable… that’s all I’m sayin’.

But anywho, get your claim on girl, however you can get it in…

Emily & Fab were spotted on the red carpet at a special screening at the Cobb Plaza Cinema Café in Orlando for the Screen Gems’ upcoming film THINK LIKE A MAN during All-Star Weekend on Saturday. Some of the cast members included Kevin Hart with his kids, Terrence J, Gabrielle Union and her boo Dwyane Wade, La La Anthony, Gary Owen and producer Will Packer. Additional guests included Chris Bosh with his fiance’ and Stephen Hill (BET President of Programming). Wait, there’s more…
