Nov 24, 2009 | By:

young-jeezyDTLR-logoIn Atlanta, urban clothing chain DTLR, has partnered with artist Young Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation, Kids with Strong Opinions and Paul D. West Middle School to provide full Thanksgiving meals for a family of four to 25 needy families from the school. As a part of the collaboration, DTLR and Young Jeezy will deliver meals to families on Thanksgiving Day. Additionally, students will attend the Atlanta Hawks vs. Orlando Magic with Young Jeezy that evening.

Jeezy quotes:

“I am thankful to be able to stay apart of our youth today and the direction that they may choose to pursue. To me, the success behind being Young Jeezy, behind the fame, is being able to take time out and help the less fortunate when I am able to.”

DTLR quotes:

“Giving back has been a part of our company culture since its inception,” said DTLR’s Community Outreach Manager Sherri Goodall. “It is a part of the fabric of our company and our employees enjoy helping the people in the communities where we operate.”
