Will I Am, Kanye, Keri Hilson, Usher, Pink, Toni Braxton,  Jamie Foxx, Brandy, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop, Wyclef, Mya, Lil Wayne, Mary Mary, Barbara Streisand, LL Cool J, Gladys Knight, Celine Dion, Tyrese, everybody you can think of, came out to record at the “We Are The World 25 Years for Haiti” recording session held at Jim Henson Studios last night in LA. 25 years ago, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie & Quincy made history with We Are The World, to raise money for famine in Africa, now 25 years later… the remake has been in the works for a while, but changed its focus last month after the earthquake in Haiti. “We Are The World – 25 for Haiti,” recorded in a Hollywood studio on Monday (they wanted to take advantage of the star power in town for the Grammys). All profits from the single will go to Haiti earthquake victims.

The video for the song will debut Feb. 12 on NBC during the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics.

Wyclef Jean & George Clooney GOT IT DONE!!

Last night’s telethon is setting records, raising over 57 million dollars thus far…The star-studded event shattered records for money donated by the public through a telethon. Another record set is garnering the biggest one-day album pre-order in ITunes history, making it number one on ITunes in 18 countries.

“The public has set a new standard of giving for a relief telethon with ‘Hope for Haiti Now,’ and the donations continue to come in–people can still contribute 24/7 via phone, web and text,” Lisa Paulsen, president & CEO of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, said.

The Hope for Haiti Now fund will continue to accept donations for the next six months through its website at www.hopeforhaitinow.org; by phone at 1-877-99-HAITI; by texting “GIVE” to 50555; or by mailed check or money order.
