In a released statement, Ray J speaks on losing his close friend:
“Over the past few days, I’ve tried to process the emptiness that I am experiencing. What my heart feels cannot be expressed in words. The world lost an icon, but I lost my close friend.”
Nippy, I miss you so much!”
“You were so happy and full of love. Your smile will live in my heart forever.”
Bobby Brown released a statement in regards to Bobbi Kristina being rushed to the hospital and how she was doing, a few days ago:
“My daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” her father Bobby Brown says in a statement.
“She has been released and is presently with my family including her siblings.”
“Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her,” says Brown, “However we will get through this tragedy as a family.”
Then in not the best choice of wording, Bobby Brown spoke of his ex during a New Edition concert in Maryland last night.
Bobby thanked fans for their prayers and shouted out his family sitting in the audience, and then said:
“Life is life … you have to move on sometimes.”
And then he said,
“I love [Whitney] like I love God … my name is BAD ASS Bobby Brown.”
I’m sure he didn’t mean any harm, but sometimes things come out sounding a little off. ‘Move on sometimes’? A tragic death like Whitney’s can’t be summed up like a break-up.
Bobby will continue the New Edition concert tour tomorrow night — hitting the stage at an Indian casino in Connecticut just hours after Whitney is laid to rest in New Jersey.
I find it kinda unfortunate that Bobby is continuing on with the tour so soon after the funeral. I’d think he would want to stick around a little while to comfort his daughter, but hey, none of us know what’s really going on and the truth with their relationship.
So I guess that it’s now being reported that Ray J & Bobby Brown will both be attending Whitney’s Home Going tomorrow, it disputes the rumor BUZZ that I posted HERE!
