When people are anointed like that, the enemy tries to come against them so strong. We must learn how to do is, fight him and get on our knees and pray for our people. We have lost too many great people, who were truly anointed from God, I promise you… Every time they opened up their mouth, they blessed somebody, and the enemy don’t like that, he don’t want nobody to be blessed.
Those artists begin to go through so many things. They have to hear what people are saying about them. They have to hear it on the radio, CNN, Nancy Grace with her lying rump… But I understand what those artists go through. When they become superstars, they lose their families, they lose their old friends…and they just wanna be regular people. So what happens is, they start turning to other things, I promise you, just to get away from folk… I beg of you before you talk, go on your knees, so that we won’t lose anymore greats.
Whitney Houston, I love her. She touched me in a special way and till this day I still can’t believe she is gone.
Fantasia has been through a lot of criticism, and even attempted suicide, and though we may not agree with her choice of dealing with a married man, she was preaching the truth at this show. With all the gossip and scrutiny these celebs deal with, sometimes that’s what drives them to cope in destructive ways.
Everybody wants to be famous these days, but you give up so much in the process. Sometimes, it just doesn’t seem worth it.
