This independent film, only playing in select theaters…LIFE, LOVE, SOUL’ opens today. Based on the storyline and the trailer, I’m definitely going to check this out, maybe this weekend.
LIFE, LOVE, SOUL is the tragedy-to-triumph story of Roosevelt Jackson (Robbie Tate-Brickle), a seventeen-year-old honor student coping with the sudden death of his mother (Tami Roman), his tumultuous relationship with his previously estranged father (Chad Coleman), and his own journey to manhood. It’s the story of a young man who loses everything and triumphantly finds himself. The film also stars Jamie Hector, Terri J. Vaughn and Egypt Sherrod.
Check out the cast who appeared on 106 & Park yesterday, where they talk about the labor of love it took to make the film and how it was working on the film. And to my surprise, one of the producers of this film, is ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ Yandy Smith.
